This Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary School is based near Highbury and Islington, who are looking for an experience Music Teacher to teach KS3&4 pupils. You will have the privilege to work with an already high reputable school and work within the Music department. This position is to start from April 2023 with interviews and trials starting ASAP.
Your new role
Starting after Easter (April), you will be responsible for teaching Music across KS3 and KS4. As this is a long-term position, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupil's work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.
This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long-term position, you will also be required to attend parent's evenings and other school functions. You must also have commitment and passion to work with pupils with a wide and diverse range and want to be members of motivated and ambitious staff team with expectations for our learners to achieve and want to achieve in life.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified QTS.
Experience teaching KS3 & KS4 pupils.
Previous experience teaching Music in a School environment.
Enhanced DBS – on the updated service
Knowledge of Secondary Curriculum and assessments.
Demonstrates commitment
An ambitious Music Teacher who shows leadership aspirations.
Must be able to commute to Highbury and Isington.
Available for after April
