Architectural Assistant

Salary : £23000 – £27000/annum
Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant required to join busy, Chester-based Architectural studio to work on an exciting mixture of Residential projects throughout the regions of North Wales and Cheshire.
We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, RIBA chartered Architectural studio with an excellent reputation for providing high-quality, innovative design solutions within the Residential sector. Their portfolio ranges from bespoke, new-build designs through to careful restorations and amendments of listed buildings. Their work expands across Cheshire and throughout North Wales and 2022 was by far their most successful year to-date. 2023 and the coming 18-24 month period is predicted to be even busier, hence the requirement for additional members of staff to join the team.
The studio is home to several, very experienced Architectural professionals. They can boast expertise from design, technical, administration, contract management and various other perspectives. The senior leadership team has been in place for many years and can offer new hires to the business a clear, unrestricted path to increasing their existing knowledge and skillset. It is predicted that this Architectural Assistant (Part 2) will be working in a job-running role within a short period of time with potential to develop into a Senior, team leader within the space of a few years.
We are looking for an individual that meets the following criteria:
* Degree Qualified to RIBA Part 2.
* Minimum of 1 years experience working in a UK-based design studio.
* Software skills should include one (or more of the following): AutoCAD, REVIT, ArchiCAD, Vectorworks.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong design skills.
* Driving licence with access to a car would be beneficial.
This company offer a flexible arrangement relating to working hours. Some staff do 3days in the office, some do 4. It is predicted that initially the successful candidate would be primarily office based with more flexibility offered as your role becomes more established within the studio.
