We have an exciting opportunity for a Timber Frame Designer, based at a factory in Warrington. As a Timber Frame Designer, you will be responsible for the preparation, design and coordination of new timber frame house types, alongside the methodology for our current range of standard house types. You will work in conjunction with our external manufacturers and suppliers and our internal production team. We are pleased to say, this role can accommodate hybrid working arrangements.

About You:

You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role elsewhere, designing timber frame house types for manufacture.
You will have experience with using WoodEngine, Consultec, HSBcad or similar software.
You will be incredibly self-motivated
You will have excellent communication skills
The Role:

You will be responsible, alongside your team, for the design of the timber frame panels to enable them to go to production in the factory.
You will produce accurate and efficient timber frame designs in line with specification, including producing cutting lists and CNC files for the factory.
You will coordinate third party floor and roof information, ensuring accuracy and completeness, including coordinating external structural engineering information.
You will give consideration to CDM regulations during the design process.
You will provide technical assistance to site teams and factory colleagues, as and when required.
You will be continually working to find efficiencies in the design process, working towards continuous product development and innovation.
You will be required to attend regular production meetings and site feedback meetings, alongside other project work as directed by your line manager.
