Location: Abercanaid, Merthyr Tydfil
Salary: £32,000 – £37,000 based on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Hybrid working available combining site visits, working from home and in the office
Hours: 37.5hrs per week – Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00 (30 mins lunch) + bonus

Greensquares Products Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technician to work with the team to undertake client surveys, provide technical drawings and advice and project management across our SunSpaces product range to B2C and B2B customers across the Country.
Architectural Technician – The Role:
Technical lead on all activity within our Sunspaces brand supporting sales team, customer service and install team in the specification and installation of aluminium and glass verandas and sunrooms. Lead the Sunspaces Team with technical project management and coordination of all projects. The role involves some driving to visit site to undertake surveys.
The successful candidate will be organised, have great communication skills and customer service experience.
Architectural Technician – You:
– Strong technical knowledge
– Experience running projects
– Capable of producing packages of information
– Residential experience required
– AutoCad skills and ideally Google sketch up
– Can communicate clearly and comfortably with customers by phone and face to face
– Assist Sunspaces project team with daily planning for future projects. You would become the technical lead for the team
Architectural Technician – Essential Skills:
– Good Autocad skills
– Driving licence
– Good technical knowledge/understanding
– Able to understand technical drawings and assembly instructions
– Able to undertake surveys at client properties
– Ability to work as a team
– Ability to work quickly, accurately and to deadlines
