Our high profile client in the automotive industry is currently looking to recruit a Product Designer, based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Assignment Description:
• Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Designer with a strong background in user experience (UX) design.
• As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in creating products that are not only visually appealing but also prioritize the user and usability at every step of the design process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform product design
• Create 2D and 3D sketches, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity visual designs for product features
• Apply UX principles to design user-centered products that meet the needs and wants of our target audience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design concepts align with business goals and customer needs
• Present design solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design software and technologies
• Ensure product designs are user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing and meet accessibility standards
Requirements:
• University degree in Transportation design or Industrial/Product Design
• 3-5 years of experience in automotive design
• English, spoken and written
• Strong user researcher with good sketch ability
• Skills using industry-leading 3D tools such as:
• Blender (preferred), Maya, Alias, Unity3D and Keyshot.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
