Are you creative and customer focused, with a passion for packaging design? Antalis Packaging are growing their team following significant investment in our innovative Smart Packaging Centre.
We are looking for a Packaging Designer to join the team and be part of our success by consulting with customers on creating innovative and sustainable packaging solutions for their products.
Ideally, you will have experience in some form of packaging design or technologist role, with an existing portfolio or suitable qualification demonstrating your skills.
Keeping it simple, the key responsibilities of this Packaging Designer role will be:
developing and designing packaging solutions for the industrial and luxury packaging sectors, working to customer briefs and deadlines.
meeting with customers directly, in partnership with the relevant account manager, to establish needs and discuss technical requirements, to enable solutions to be developed.
creating structural designs using corrugate, carton board and foam, operating the CAD table to produce samples and using the testing facilities to deliver value added solutions.
creating 2D layouts and 3D visuals – artwork layouts would be beneficial.
effectively managing projects through from development and design through to successful implementation with customers.

Essential Skills
Structural design skills & experince

A good understanding of the technical processes of packaging materials
Desirable Skills
CAD experience – Impact CAD knowledge preferred but not essential
A degree in a relevant product/industrial/packaging design discipline
Adobe Creative suite knowledge
