Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic Events Management business who are looking to recruit an Events Producer on a permanent basis due to growth.

The business mainly provides services to corporate events which generally take place on weekdays, although some weekend working will be required, and there is a high degree of flexibility regarding working hours, as well as an understanding that this is not a 9-5 job.

Purpose of the role:

Our client have won some exciting new business recently and are rapidly growing as a company. That's why we’re helping them to recruit for an additional Producer.

Duties and responsibilities:

Help deliver high profile events for existing clients.
Assist the Account Director or Managers in managing existing accounts to a high standard and to develop long-term relationships with their events teams.
Stretch creative interpretation of the client brief and to push technical excellence in event delivery.
Produce virtual/hybrid events from creative brief to delivery, managing the virtual team.
To manage individual projects in a variety of different business sectors from pitch through to on-site delivery, advising clients on agendas, storyboarding, content and scripts.
To retain key accounts and develop business with them.
To work with other departments to manage pitches and proposal documents.
To work with Production, Set, Creative & Technical personnel to ensure that every production is successfully produced.
To work strategically with clients to achieve their event strategies.
To manage project budgets to make the best possible profit for the company, without compromising event delivery or the client relationship.
Show calling on occasion.
On a more strategic level, you will work at Board level with blue chip clients and internally you will work with senior management to find new and better ways of working smarter and more efficiently.

Qualifications and experience:

Educated to degree standard or equivalent.
Experience of specifying and managing virtual events preferred.
Experience of show calling would be an advantage – training will be given.
First class interpersonal skills – especially regarding meeting management and written communications.
A practical, logical and systematic approach.
Creative problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Able to work under pressure.
Creative and fun approach to working life.
Willingness to travel internationally, when required.
Excellent all-round end-user IT skills.
