We at Zachary Daniels are supporting a leading Sports retailer in the Irish market seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager in the Greater Dublin / North Wicklow region. This is the go-to retailer in their market sector offering the very best of branded products to the Irish customers.
As you start your career with this business you will have the opportunity to develop and grow in other store locations and possible moves into Head Office functional roles i.e; Area Management, Hr, Buying, Marketing or VM. They have plenty of success stories of Team Staff promoting through the ranks to Area Manager, HR and Buying positions.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Assistant Manager;
Complete daily and weekly floor walks with the use of your commercial and departmental sales to assess product placement, visual standards, stock replenishment and general flow in store.
Creating a high energy environment for colleagues to thrive to achieve individual targets.
Take ownership of the shop floor by leading by example, development of the team and ensuring the smooth running of the day to day.
Supporting your colleagues on their daily targets through communication, floor planners and celebrating success daily on achievement of individual performance.
Working and exceed your; daily, weekly and qtrly kpi's in stores.
What you need to be a successful applicant;
You will be currently working at Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Concession Manager level.
You will have retail experience working in High Street Fashion, Apparel, Sport or Accessories.
You will have managed a team size of at least 6 upwards and managing turnover of 500k plus.
You will have passion for visual merchandising and driving a stores success through product and people.
