Shift Digital Printer or Finisher | Essex | Full Time | £23,000 – £26,000 depending on experience
Our client is a small, but busy, trade book printer and binder based in Hockley, Essex. They are now looking to recruit a skilled Shift Digital Printer or Finisher to join their fantastic team.
Utilising your experience as a digital printer or finisher, our client will develop and advance your skills in order to create beautifully printed, perfectly bound and cased bound books.
You will be an industry professional with digital printing and or finishing skills, or someone with a litho print background wanting to develop your skills in toner and inkjet printing technologies.
Please note that the employer is happy to consider candidates with basic print and finishing knowledge which can be developed.
Your shift pattern hours are scheduled as follows:-
* Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (days and whilst training)
* Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm, Friday 6am to 12.00am (Early)
* Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm, Friday 11.30am to 5.30pm (Late)
Are you the right person for the job?
* Digital printing experience or litho printing knowledge
* Print finishing experience
* Good IT skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Good attention to detail
* Work to a high level of accuracy under pressure
* A good sense of humour
What will your role look like?
* Carry out tasks and operate any required machines and processes associated with the smooth running of the printing area as requested by the Manager to meet production targets, customer needs, efficiency and quality requirements in line with Standard Operating Procedures
* Comply with health and safety regulations within the team and the environment ensuring safe practice regarding the use of the equipment and general good housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
