Job Title: Trainee Banknote Specialist (training provided)

Reports to: Arnas Savickas (Head of Banknotes Europe/USA)

Aim of role: Learning about the world of rare and collectible banknotes, you will also learn the auction process and gain knowledge of the broader collectables industry.

Auctioneer training will be provided.

Main Responsibilities (for which training will be provided):

* To research, describe and evaluate banknotes from all over the world with opportunities to develop deeper knowledge of specific banknote areas.

* To ensure the smooth process of the behind the scenes auction process, from receiving to selling banknotes.

* Ability to deal with banknote enquiries both in person and on the telephone (specific training will be provided).

* Gaining experience of client relationship management.

* Preparation for pitches, projects and negotiations.

* Prepare stock and inventory for auction and private sales.

* General office duties.

* Proof reading and assembling auction catalogues and online auctions.

* Learning how to negotiate with sellers, regarding commission, insurance, 3rd party and handling rates.

* You will have an opportunity to expand our business by forming relations with new clients.
