Location: Lancing
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm

We have opportunities for a New Product Developer and a New Product Development Assistant to join a fun and busy company in a New Product Development role. The NPD team come up with creative product ideas and help facilitate the process of bringing new product ideas to fruition.
You will:
Help to generate product ideas based on research and emerging trends
Work with the sales team on customised products and packaging requirements to fit customer briefs
Work with the quality assurance team to deliver new products which comply with all safety standards
Work closely with the design team to ensure all artworks are fit for purpose
Present to the business when required for sign off and company updates
Work with suppliers to deliver the right product at the right price
Building relationships with licensors and supplies and negotiate on pricing and costs where needed
Document and keep photos of all products that come through the department
Maintain current and correct data on all department documents such as – License Tracker, Supply Base, Critical Path, Costing Sheets and NAV
You'll need to be creative and have a commercial mind set as well as being educated to Degree level or equivalent in Product Design or related. The salary range is between £25,000 and £30,000 dependent on your experience in Product Design, Development or a similar.
