Product Design Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £28000/annum
Product Design Engineer required for my client located in the Aylesford area.
The successful product design engineer will join a team where they will work closely on the development of the company's key projects.
The client is open to a junior engineer joining the business; within product and design engineering. They are focused on candidates who are keen to adapt their skills and confidently express their own industry knowledge and expertise's.
Product Design Engineer Position Overview
Product development – concept to production.
Project management – high levels of responsibility and delivering to deadlines.
CAD modelling and drawings (AutoCAD and Solidworks).
Production drawings, draftsmanship.
Supplier, customer and sub-contractor liaison.
Product Design Engineer Position Requirements
Mechanical Design Engineering degree qualified
Well versed in product design process.
Can demonstrate projects they project managed / played a key role
Can demonstrate products / components they took from design through manufacture to release.
Highly-capable with Solidworks or AutoCAD, MS Office and (optional) Adobe Creative Suite.
Highly-capable, thorough engineer and draftsperson
Confident, reliable and comfortable in a small, dynamic company.
Based within a commutable distance Aylesford
Able to drive.Product Design Engineer Position Remuneration
Full time position – Monday to Friday (paid for 40 hours but only work 36 hours)
Salary – £25,000 to £28,000 – dependent upon experience, skills and qualifications.
28 days holiday package including the bank holidays.
