Design and Estimating Technician

Salary : £25000 – £40000/annum
Orchard Professional Solutions Ltd are pleased to be working with a Modular Building Refurbishment Manufacturer who are looking to recruit a Design & Estimating Technician
Your Purpose:
* Support the Design and Estimating Manager
* Work within the Technical, Design and Estimating team
* Assisting with the design of building layout using CAD
* Receive briefs from Clients and sales team
* Provide quotations to the sales team
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide layout drawings based on standard stock and customer requirements
* Provide elevation drawings when requested
* Provide foundation layouts with appropriate point loads
* Estimating projects and raising detailed quotations to sales / clients
* Dealing with Tenders
* Liaising with customers on specification details
* Liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing and product specification
* Maintain databases
* Attending sites to support Sales as necessary
* Provide technical support to the production team
* Keeping up to date with current Building Regulations
* Assisting with contract management and project control when necessary
Salary displayed is dependent on experience
