Job Opportunity: Junior Designer on behalf of a Northampton based business that designs both products and installation layouts for a variety of clients across the UK. On offer is a salary of between £21,174 and £25,000.
As the Junior Designer you will be an integral member of the design team working in a fun and inspirational studio environment with a team that always aim to exceed client expectations. The role will be challenging, varied and exciting so is best suited to someone with a creative and task driven mindset who is able to manage their creative output and ensure work is completed to meet the teams output target.
The Junior Designer will:
* Focus on producing visually exciting and engaging 2D designs and scaled plans based on briefs received from the sales team.
* Be creating detailed AutoCAD layouts and image boards using Adobe Creative Cloud.
* Quantifying designs and sourcing costs for materials.
* Keeping themselves up to date with product or design advancements as well as relevant safety requirements.
To be considered as the Junior Designer you will need:
* Your own transport as their office is not on any nearby bus or train route.
* To ideally be degree or college qualified in design.
* To be fully creative and confident in managing projects.
* To be an innovative and creative thinker who can approach new designs with enthusiasm and have the design flair and commercial acumen to ensure that designs offer the best value for money.
* A willingness to embrace change and personal development.
* Strong 2D design experience.
* Experience with 3DS Max, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCad would be useful, strong administration skills are required as is experience of using Excel.
