Design Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £55000/annum Depending on level of experience
Our client a long established air conditioning contracting company who design and install HVAC systems . You will work alongside Project Managers on the design and installation of HVAC systems mostly within the restaurant industry. If you have HVAC and CAD experience then we want to hear about you.
Duties:
Working alongside and under the direction of the Design Manager and Project Managers to produce HVAC designs. Drawing for projects using AutoCAD
Producing O&M manuals
Inhouse training will be provided on duct sizing, pipe sizing, heat loss and heat gain calculations, pressure drop calculations and plant sizing.
Attend design team meetings with project managers, contractors, client's and architects.
Coordinate the layouts with other trades
Attend site visits to develop your understanding of the building with members of the team
Working alongside project managers you will have the opportunity to attend sites overseeing the installation
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience of using AutoCAD in the workplace is essential
A good understanding of HVAC systems with experience of basic calculations
Must have good MS Office suite skills
Must be flexible and able to take direction
Due to location you will need your own transport.
