We are currently seeking an experienced PR and Communications Executive to join a dynamic team company in Birmingham City Centre. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for identifying and executing media opportunities to promote our organisation and enhance the reputation.
Responsibilities:
Monitor the news agenda and keep up-to-date with industry trends to identify media opportunities
Develop and maintain relationships with key journalists and media outlets
Develop and implement PR campaigns to increase brand awareness and promote the organisation's key messages
Draft and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials
Act as a spokesperson for the organisation and handle media inquiries
Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on the effectiveness of PR campaigns
Assist in the planning and execution of events and other promotional activities
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure consistency of messaging across all communications channelsRequirements:
Proven experience in a similar PR and Communications role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong media relations and networking skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Creative and strategic thinking skills
A keen eye for detail and ability to spot opportunities
Strong organisational and project management skills
