Position: New Product Developer
* Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 (dependant on experience)
* Location: Lancing
* Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
* 20 days holiday + bank holidays, annual pay review, free parking, hybrid working
We have opportunities for a New Product Developer and a New Product Development Assistant to join a fun and busy company in a New Product Development role. The NPD team come up with creative product ideas and help facilitate the process of bringing new product ideas to fruition.
You will:
* Help to generate product ideas based on research and emerging trends
* Work with the sales team on customised products and packaging requirements to fit customer briefs
* Work with the quality assurance team to deliver new products which comply with all safety standards
* Work closely with the design team to ensure all artworks are fit for purpose
* Present to the business when required for sign off and company updates
* Work with suppliers to deliver the right product at the right price
* Building relationships with licensors and supplies and negotiate on pricing and costs where needed
* Document and keep photos of all products that come through the department
* Maintain current and correct data on all department documents such as – License Tracker, Supply Base, Critical Path, Costing Sheets and NAV
You’ll need to be creative and have a commercial mind set as well as being educated to Degree level or equivalent in Product Design or related. The salary range is between £25,000 and £30,000 dependent on your experience in Product Design, Development or a similar.
