Architectural Technologist (AJ100)

Salary : £38000 – £45000/annum
Conrad Consulting are proudly supporting a long-standing client of ours as they look to hire a talented and ambitious Architectural Technologist to join their busy Manchester studio on a full-time, permanent basis.
This busy Architectural practice are undergoing an unprecedented period of success and growth. They have an exciting pipeline of new projects forecast for the coming months and a motivated team in place to deliver it. They have identified a small gap in their current team, one that would be best suited to a well-rounded Architectural Technologist or Senior Architectural Technologist looking to take the next step in their career.
This AJ100 practice use REVIT to a high standard and as such, they expect new hires that join the business to have good experience using the software. Their current and future workload is primarily within the Residential & Commercial sectors. Architectural Technologists that have worked on High-Rise, Low-rise, Volume housing, Offices, Retail parks and various associated project-types would be viewed upon favourably.
Their current team operates primarily from a home-based working system with occasional requirement to visit the office/visit site when needed. This is likely to continue for the coming months.
We would hope for the Architectural Technician candidate to meet the following criteria:
5+ years work experience (UK based preferred)
Experience in Residential And/Or Commercial sector projects is desirable
REVIT proficient – at least 2 years practical experience
Experience working in a project team
Knowledge of Building Regulations and Technical Building Design
A motivated individual with the drive and energy to work on a number of projects at any one time
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop.
