Our client is a well-established manufacturer of beautiful bespoke furniture for the commercial and residential sectors working for some leading brands such as BT and Spotify.
With their ongoing successes and a forever growing order book, they're looking for a Joinery Designer to join them on a permanent basis. You will be a key member of their design team primarily using Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD to create manufacturing drawing packs, detailing all components for fitted commercial furniture and cabinetry, taken from the conceptual designer.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
Produce client approval drawings as well as full manufacturing drawing packs detailing all components
Create quantity lists for ordering all materials, fittings, and appliances
Provide cutting lists
Responsible for quick 2D sketches and drawings in AutoCAD
Carry out site surveysExperiences required
Competent in Autodesk Inventor or those with SolidWorks experience will also be considered
Proficient in using AutoCAD
Experience in technical detailing for commercial furniture & joinery
Competent in designing for manufacturing is essential
Knowledge in Inventor Woodwork/SolidWorks Swood is beneficial
