A fashion business that designs and manufacturers the UK and European high retailers and premium brands with multi-product woven menswear, womenswear and childrenswear apparel has an exciting new role for a SENIOR WHOLESALE ACCOUNT MANAGER with strong apparel design or wholesale account management experience to join its expanding head office team located in London.
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the development of their ranges, managing the critical path and full product life cycle from initial concept to delivery, and maintaining and developing the company's current customer base. You will attend design / sales meetings with retail fashion buyers to develop their ranges, whilst working closely with internal design and production teams to ensure the buyer's designs and ranges are produced according to their brief. You will negotiate cost prices and delivery dates, sourcing new factories, fabrics and trims, attending and representing the company at trade shows, factory visits and competitve shopping trips.
The ideal candidate must have previous fashion apparel Account Management experience working for an established UK based fashion supplier or fashion retailer at a mid to senior level. Possessing excellent trend awareness, presentation, negotiation, organisation and analytical skills with the ability to be customer facing. You must have strong knowledge of garment construction, sustainability and production along with exceptional experience working directly with international factories and manufacturers, and willing to travel. You must also have strong I.T skills and knowledge of PLM.
