Fantastic opportunity here for a job running, Senior Architectural Technologist to join a leading multi-disciplinary practice in Newark, Nottinghamshire, to work on a range of exciting and interesting projects in sectors such as Retail, Residential, Commercial, Leisure and more.
THE COMPANY
The practice are a multi-disciplinary team with specialisms in Architecture, Surveying, Engineering, Project Management and more, with a proud history dating back over 100 years. The company operates out of their head office in Newark along with three regional offices spread throughout the UK.
As a large scale multi-disciplinary practice, the company work on a variety of projects in a range of sectors including; Retail, Residential, Commercial, Leisure, Education, Industrial and more, along with being up to speed with the latest software packages including AutoCAD & Revit. Based in Newark, the company have modern offices in a rural-ish setting, with supermarkets, cafes, and amenities all within walking distance. They are in commuting range of Nottingham, Lincoln, Sheffield, Derby and areas in between, with parking on site and close proximity to public transport links.
Due to continued growth in the head office in Newark, and a persistently growing pipeline of work, there is now an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team.
THE POSITION – SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST
As a Senior Architectural Technologist you will be joining an ever growing, bustling multi-disciplinary office, based within the Architectural team. This position would suit a qualified Architectural Technologist with at least 5 years of industry experience, ideally pushing towards the 10 years experience mark and beyond.
As a Senior Architectural Technologist you will be an integral part to the Newark team, starting out working predominantly in the Retail sector working on exciting major refurbishment projects throughout the UK, ranging in value from £500k-£20m. These developments tend to be high profile, city centre redevelopments with heritage input often required. You will be undertaking a key, leading role in project delivery, working closely with key clients.
The ideal Senior Architectural Technologist will possess the following:
Degree in Architectural Technology or a HNC/HND in a related field.
At least 5 years of industry experience, ideally towards the 10 year mark.
Self motivated and has the drive to be a successful Snr Technologist, with ambition to progress through the ranks.
Happy to work individually, as part of a team, and as the head of a team.
Excellent technical experience, with sound knowledge of UK Building Regs.
Job running experience is essential.
Happy to work on a number of projects at any one time and able to manage your workload accordingly.
