Zenith People are looking to recruit an experienced Artworker to work at its client’s site in Morpeth. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team of a forward thinking, well-established company. Each product we supply has different personalisation options and each require different skills and solutions. We are looking for individuals with good adobe illustrator skills who can think and learn fast to create solutions for our clients. You should have a keen eye for detail, love to have multiple jobs on the go and creating products that look great for our clients. You should be passionate about design and care about doing a great job.
You will be primarily based at our office in Morpeth, Northumberland.
Job Description
As an Artworker you will support the solutions and production teams of the business by:
· Design artwork approvals on our product range with client’s logos.
· Ensuring clients brand guidelines are maintained.
· Support the solutions team by designing pre-order mock ups and new ideas to win new business.
· Checking Artwork approvals from suppliers and approving for production.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will help us fulfil and meet our clients.
· Receive briefs for layouts from production team to mock up design on product template to the relevant supplier print spec (we use screen print, embroidery, digital print, engraving and more). And send to the client for approval.
· Send approved print ready artwork to suppliers.
· Check all aspects of supplier’s approval sent to us is correct matching our approved design and clients brand guidelines.
· Work with the solutions team to design pre-order visuals and new pro-active designs to help win future orders.
· Be a positive ambassador by being both personable and professional
· Work as part of the team to meet deadlines and independently to manage your own workload.
Skills, Experience and Knowledge Needed:
You should have:
· Skills to create print ready artwork and designs in Adobe Illustrator
· 1 year’s graphic design (preferred but not essential)
· Good organisational skills. The role is fast paced, and you will be expected to manage your own workload effectively.
You should be:
· A fast learner of products and services – and be willing to keep developing and enhancing this knowledge,
· Attentive to detail, with an organised can-do approach to everything you do,
· Articulate, fun and dynamic – the team thrives on positive energy!
· Able to juggle multiple projects at the same time, whilst working closely with customers, suppliers, and other members of the team.
· Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Intelligent, professional, and ready to meet any challenge your clients might set
