About the Role
Reporting to the Publicity Manager, your primary role will be working within the Publicity team (and wider Marketing Department) on the creation and execution of product installation guides, labels, datasheets and brochures. In addition, you will assist in the production of internal and external marketing and advertising material for print and digital output formats, to meet the needs of the business.
As part of the in-house creative team, you will be collaborating closely with the Technical, Product Design and Product Manager teams to create clean and clear, customer focussed content.
Your day to day
* Collaborate with the Technical team to manage the creation, updating and distribution of product installation guides and labels.
* Create accurate artwork for literature, advertising and exhibition material for print and digital output formats.
* Gain an understanding of the brand and follow guidelines to ensure consistency across images, messaging, logo usage and other graphic elements.
* Assist in the maintenance of the company websites, newsletters and communications.
* Assist in the production of photography/videography.
* Assist in the management of product data and assets through CMS systems.
* Contribute ideas and creative thinking to improve processes.
Skills/Experience
* Graphic Design Degree / HND or equivalent or proven commercial skills in a similar role or industry.
* Technically and creatively proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator. Knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of print processes and designing for print is desirable.
* A knowledge of photography/videography would be advantageous.
* Portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, technical ability and an awareness of current design trends.
* An understanding of working to brand guidelines is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to demonstrate ideas, research and problem solving.
* Highly organised and able to prioritise workload and understand creative briefs.
* Demonstrate a keen attention to detail and high standard of art working.
* Be able to communicate with other departments to deliver projects under challenging deadlines.
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
