In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the design process, contributing to the creation of innovative and sustainable architectural solutions. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to develop detailed technical drawings and specifications, utilizing the latest design software and technology.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with architects and design team members to develop architectural design concepts and solutions.
Produce detailed technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
Prepare specifications and material schedules for construction projects.
Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure adherence to design intent and specifications.
Utilize advanced design software and technology to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of design processes.
Stay up to date with industry trends, building codes, and regulations relevant to architectural design and construction.
Contribute to sustainable design strategies and integrate environmentally friendly solutions into projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
Proven experience as an Architectural Design Technologist, preferably in a leading architectural firm.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit.
Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
