Conrad Consulting have partnered with an emerging & growing Architectural Practice who have a remote based opportunity available for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their talented team of 10 fellow Architectural professionals.

This opportunity would suit an individual fairly local to the Leeds area as the practice have meeting facilities in town for client meetings and team collaboration events, these will typically take place fortnightly of monthly.

Candidates must have a suitable working from home space, equipment such as a highly powered laptop / mobile phone will be provided, project work is accessed via a secure cloud based shared drive.

The practice specialises in the design and delivery of highly serviced buildings in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals sectors for public and private providers nationally – typically these are acute Healthcare schemes & specialist mental health facilities.

The work incorporates all RIBA stages so an individual who has both design & Technical experience would be highly advantageous.

Our client are keen for a Senior Architectural Technologist with between 5-10 years' experience who has a positive approach, solution based thinking and growth mindset that can work well within a team and independently with job running experience. The practice currently use a combination of both REVIT and AutoCAD, a proficiency in both software packages would be preferred but some training can be provided. The practice is currently headed up by two experienced Directors and two Associates, the remainder of the team is a mixture of Assistants and Junior Technicians.

Experienced Architectural Technologists who have the following

Degree qualified in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
5 – 10 years of industry experience
Job running and site based delivery experience.
Knowledge of current building legislation, including Building Regulations and relevant Technical design guidance, construction technology and product development to undertake the production and coordination of design and construction information
Ability to undertake tasks required on the day-to-day delivery requirements of projects at all stages, including; production of design deliverables, providing accurate technical information, addressing technical queries, Site Inspections, condition surveys, monitoring delivery; identifying changes which could impact on fees, change controls, slippage of programme
Specification writing capability with relevant software/NBS
Understanding of duties and responsibilities under CDM Regulations
A flexible and positive approach to working as part of a team and independently.
AutoCAD & Revit experience is required.
A background in the Healthcare and / or Pharmaceuticals sectors in the UK would be an advantage. Other sectors will be considered.On offer is a salary between £40,000 – £45,000 per annum plus 23 days holiday, 4% work place pension & Life assurance policy.
