An excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician or Draughtsperson from a structural steel or construction background looking to join an expanding company where you will work on a range of exciting projects.
CAD Technician or Draughtsperson
This expanding company specialise in the design and production of structures and installations for a range of exciting clients. They are now going through a period of ongoing expansion.
Due to this, they are now looking for a CAD Technician to join their expert team. In this role you will be tasked with producing exciting 2D and 3D designs to meet project requirements, that can also be used by the workshop team in the manufacturing process.
This will involve working alongside projects managers and the workshop team to ensure the project comes in on time and in budget.
You will also be provided with specialist training in order to become an expert within their industry.
This role would therefore suit an individual with a strong background in structural steel or construction related design, who is looking for a new challenge and the chance to join an expanding company.
The Role:
• Producing 2D & 3D drawings
• Design for fabrication
• Working alongside workshop team & project managers
The Person:
• Structural Steel or Construction design experience
• Proficient with AutoCAD
• Tekla experience would be an advantage but not essential
