Responsibilities of Fine Art Shipping Logistics Coordinator:
Assuming responsibility for managing the entire client experience throughout the shipping process, ensuring client satisfaction and surpassing expectations.
Coordinating the efficient and cost-effective handling, transportation, and installation/de-installation of fine art pieces for our prestigious clientele.
Collaborating with a team of fine art drivers, technicians, and storage personnel to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
Managing existing client accounts, nurturing strong relationships and expanding our service offerings to meet their evolving requirements.
Proactively targeting and engaging potential new clients and market sectors to drive growth and profitability.
Organising daily work schedules for drivers and subcontractors to optimize resource utilisation and minimize costs.
Working closely with logistics, warehouse, and transport managers to support assignments and resolve day-to-day issues.
Maintaining high standards for client service and safety, both for our employed staff and subcontracted drivers and technicians.
Providing outstanding customer service while adhering to policies and meeting deadlines, quality standards, and safety protocols
Qualifications for a Fine Art Shipping Logistics Coordinator:
Previous experience in fine art shipping, with a strong understanding of air, sea, and road procedures, as well as HM Customs import and export regulations.
Excellent account management skills, preferably within the fine art logistics sector or related industries.
Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels.
In-depth knowledge of fine art handling, including shipping, storage, casing, and installation practices.
Proficiency in evaluating and quoting shipments, as well as negotiating with subcontractors and service providers.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Competency in MS Office and other relevant IT applications
