Salary : £22000 – £35000/annum
Architectural Technician required to join a vertically integrated Construction and development company located in Garforth, Leeds. Our client are one of the UK's leading purpose build residential care home developer and constructor. Over 30 years of innovation, within their vertically integrated model, this has allowed them to perfect the care home designs.
About the role of Architectural Technician
Required is an enthusiastic Architectural Technician (Graduate Level also considered) to work within our clients Technical Design team where you will be responsible for the production and organisation of design information. The Architectural Technician opportunity is very interactive and fast paced, working alongside the site finding, planning & site based construction teams suitable candidates will be interacting with all aforementioned teams. This is fantastic environment to build on existing experience gained and you will be working on your own sites/projects from start -finish.
Key Responsibilities:
To assist in the design and development of projects from feasibility stage through to completion.
To work closely with all in house disciplines, site teams and external consultants.
To prepare technical and detailed drawings.
To attend site meetings from time to time with sites situated nationwide.
To undertake full Building Regulation submissions.
Key Requirements:
Knowledge of producing working technical drawings and specifications.
Hardworking with an eye for detail.
Knowledge of technical legislation including current Building Regulations.
Proficient in AutoCAD.
Strong problem solver and communicator.
Work efficiently as part of a team.
