Senior Architectural Technologist

Salary : £40000 – £45000/annum
Senior Architectural Technologist required to join an award winning and innovative Architectural & Planning Consultancy located just off the M1 between Leeds and Wakefield.
Our client have a rich history of for creating inspirational and deliverable development projects for both private and public sector clients throughout the North of England and the Midlands. At the heart of the business is their Architecture, Masterplanning & Planning team which is one of the largest of it's kind. They are now seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to support the technical delivery of various exciting new projects commencing in the summer, these are mainly in the commercial sector to include hotels, sports centres, & Medical centres.
The successful Senior Architectural Technologist candidate will be able to:-
Deliver excellent quality technical outputs to tight deadlines.
Prepare, review and approve drawings as required.
Work on a variety of project sizes.
Rely on previous experience to take the initiative and drive projects forward.
They will also have:-
At least eight years post qualification experience (ideally in a UK practice).
A degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent in Architectural Technology
Working knowledge of building systems, regulations and construction types.
Experience of working with appropriate authorities (e.g. planning enquiries and building inspectors) when producing documentation for statutory approval.
Hands on experience of working on projects, preferably including on site experience.
Experience of various forms of building contract.
Extensive commercial experience or possibly retail with transferable skills.
A thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD 2020 and Revit 2020 or later.
A working knowledge of Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign would be preferred.
A full UK driving license plus access to a car.
