Metalis is working with a specialist in their field in the search for their next Senior Design Engineer. Our client works in a range of industries and countries, and in particular wants to speak with those with Heat Exchange (transfer) experience.
This is a Senior role and will be reporting directly into the MD. As a senior member of the team, you will be mentoring Junior Designers, very customer facing and supporting on business-critical decisions/projects.
Job Duties:
Growing and sustaining lost lasting client relationships.
Negotiation of Contracts.
Generation of BOM's & costing sheets.
Reviewing client briefs and agreeing adjustments to designs.
Peer reviewing work.
Performing Hand & Software based calculations.
Lead projects and deliver updates.
Lead site tours and keep customers updated on progress.Job Requirements:
A minimum 8years experience in a Heat Transfer capacity.
Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree.
Prior use of HTRI or Aspentech EDR.
Knowledge of Heat Exchange Module Design.
Able to stay calm under pressure.
Previous experience customer facing.
Must have excellent English written and verbal skills.Salary & Shift:
£50,000 – £55,000
Office opens 07:30 – 17:30. Early finish Friday.
Must complete hours within core office times.
Monday – Friday.
