The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant
For this role, I am actively recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a difference to the learning of students with Special Needs. The role will require you to work closely on a 1:1 basis with students across primary/secondary who have been diagnosed on the Autistic Spectrum. You will need to build a rapport with the students by providing academic and emotional support, encouraging them to take an independent stance with their learning. Due to the students' needs, the ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will need to have experience working with children or young people who have SEN such as Autism and challenging behaviour. This is a full-time role that requires long-term commitment.
SEN School – SEN Teacher
This SEN school is located in the London Borough of Ealing and caters to students between the ages of 4-22 years who have been diagnosed with various Special Educational Needs such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder. They currently have 96 students who attend the school and an Ofsted rating of 'Outstanding' from their last inspection in October 2021.
