CAD Drawer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000/annum
On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a CAD Drawer who will work for a stainless-steel manufacturer specialising in the Biotechnology industry. They have many successful years working within the industry and provide bespoke and high-quality equipment. You must be an enthusiastic and skilled worker who will be able to contribute to the values and goals of the company.
Basic Requirements:
* Efficient in computer software such as CAD drawing programs.
* GCSE English and Maths and excellent A level results or a relevant college course is desirable.
* A degree or higher education qualification is desired but higher education is not essential.
* Knowledge of ISO and QMS procedures.
* Data entry and knowledge of databases and spreadsheets including Excel and Google Sheets.
* Be confident to communicate with senior management to supplies and customers.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to use initiative while working with a small team.
* Good research skills and ability to translate data into a simple format.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Working to a brief to design manufacturing drawings for multiple projects.
* Working brief design conceptual drawings for all future projects.
* Communicating with both the sales and production teams on issues and delays with drawings.
* Presenting drawings and designs to relevant Departments.
* Ensuring all deadlines are adhered to and correct procedures are being followed.
* Ensure all drawings are completed within a set time and to the assigned brief.
* Working alongside the sales and production teams.
