There is flexibility on the hours and availability to work from home subject to training completion.
We are a global provider of high-quality technical Equipment for control rooms of all industries working with the client to develop a solution. They specialise in custom designed Equipment for CCTV control rooms, Air Traffic Control Towers, Plant & Process control rooms and Emergency/Transport centres.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Responsible for the technical design of bespoke furniture in accordance with the requirements and needs of clients. To work closely with the production team in order to help manufacture quality products, generate ideas and resolve manufacturing problems.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce proposal drawing based on sales requirements, communicate either by sketch, visio or other means
Produce approval drawings from Project Managers design brief/site survey, including sufficient detail to allow the Project Managers to gain Approval for Manufacture.
Produce Manufacturing drawings adhering to the approved details.
Work to all advised ergonomic standards when producing drawings ensuring that the furniture complies with BS11064
Obtain quotations for subcontractors for project related bought out items.
Raise purchase order for project related bought out items.
Ensure that all purchase orders are raised promptly to ensure the goods are available when required for assembly/delivery.
Strive to ensure that information on the manufacturing drawings is clear and consistent.
Work within drawing office standards
Be proactive in problem solving and opportunities to improve.
Produce cladding CNC programmes accurately using PANSYS.
Produce worktop/script programmes using ARTCAM .
Work additional hours when workload dictates
