Circus Handy Person

Giffords Circus are looking for a special individual to join their maintenance team in the position of Circus Handy Person. We are looking for a reliable, highly organised and resourceful person that has a proactive approach to working through a never end list of fixes on the circus site.
There are opportunities to shadow our current Handyperson throughout the 2023 summer season with setting up the site and water systems. With a view to start full time work through the winter period from October and into the 2024 season touring with the circus community. Work through out the winter includes accommodation and facilities fixing as well as maintenance on the circus main headquarters building. Accommodation is provided for the touring months.
The desired person has experience with multiple skills and services. They would be responsible for completing routine maintenance, undertaking repairs and tackling a range of other practical tasks. Their duties should include plumbing, carpentry and other general upkeep work, plus helping with our site moves. This person is extremely important to the running of our sites and is in a position to live on site with the rest of the crew during tour time, being April to September.
Necessary:
