A young, dynamic market leading company are at the forefront of smart city technologies. They are looking to add a 'Design Engineer' to their highly motivated and skilled team. Working together developing eco-smart products that make a more efficient, safe and greener environment.
Role & Responsibilities
Manage product and test program to completion.
Documenting product drawings and specifications ensuring the needs of the customer and regulatory requirements are met.
Proficient with coaching and mentoring to support junior members.
Using plastic, sheet metal, and machined components.Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Mechanical engineering degree, HND or similar
BS8888, GD&T, Design for Manufacturing & Calculating tolerance stacks
Experience using 3D parametric CAD, preferably Solid works.
Microsoft office (Excel and Word).Benefits
