We are currently dealing with a major engineering contractor based in York who are looking for Signalling Design Verifiers to join their team, either on a permanent or contracting basis. As Signalling Design Verifier, you must be committed to meeting projects on time, safely and within budget. Within this role, you must be aware of using AutoCAD and MicroStation system tools to enable the delivery of designs, helping to share concepts and expediting the approval process, which ultimately helps to save time and money.
As Signalling Design Verifier, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Safely, verify and validate safety related Signalling Design deliverables at a principle and system level, meeting project programme, budgets, and technical requirements
Verify and validate design deliverables in accordance with railway standards, technical constraints, health and safety regulations, and company procedures
You will lead the signalling engineering team to deliver design details to time and budget
Managing production, checking and approval of feasibility and outlining and designing detailed signalling principles design calculations
Job requirements:
IRSE Principles Designer Licence 1.1.130
IRSE Verifier Designer Licence 1.1.160
Previous experience in Railway Signalling Systems
HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
