Senior Designer/Art Director

Salary : £40000 – £50000/annum
My client is an award winning healthcare agency in London! My client specialise in health, wellness, empathy and imagination.
They're on a mission to change lives through the use of inspiring communications and this is why they are looking for a new senior designer/art director to joint them!
The senior designer/art director must have pharma/healthcare agency experience!
As Senior Designer/Art Director you will bring campaigns to life by producing highly creative, original ideas and concepts. You will be involved in all stages of a project, from the conceptualisation and development of an idea to its production and implementation in a campaign. You will get to know and advise clients, understanding their needs and helping them achieve their vision.
You will also help mentor and manage any more junior creatives in the team.
Responsibilities as their Senior Designer/Art Director:

Creative and delivery
* Concepting – interpreting client briefs and coming up with inventive and original ideas that take into account client expectations, audience, and business context as their Senior Designer
* Managing the scope and budget of projects and ensuring these are respected throughout the creative process as their Senior Designer
* Design development – executing world-class, exceptional creative content as their Senior Designer
* Creating the project vision and communicating it effectively to the team, outlining all deliverables and ensuring everyone understands what is expected of them as their Senior Designer
* Regularly checking in with the team to review the overall direction of the project, addressing any issues and ensuring it is running smoothly
* Presenting the brand to the client articulately and logically, with clear and authoritative rationale

Skills as their Senior Designer/Art Director
* Solid, successful experience in a similar level creative role as their Senior Designer
* Strong ad agency and/or design agency experience
* Three years’ experience working within the healthcare space (pharma and med device)
* A strong track record of creating outstanding and award-winning creative work as their Senior Designer
* Proven experience of building successful client relationships and rapidly earning client trust
* Experience of driving the creative process from initial briefing to final product and thorough knowledge of design and creative production processes and procedures as their Senior Designer
* Proven ability to set budgets, allocate resources, and plan and schedule projects as their Senior Designer
* Exceptional attention to detail and/or experience performing output quality control
* Excellent presentation skills
* An understanding of med-comms, advertising, and PR within the healthcare sector
