Our client is looking for a creative copywriter who has a passion for concepting award-winning ideas and writing clear and compelling copy.

You must have advertising agency experience and healthcare would be a bonus!

creative copywriter PURPOSE:

The main purpose of a creative copywriter is to write creative, engaging and stimulating copy, across all media, that connects with people. This will include both conceptual copy and more substantial content as campaign tactics are developed.

creative copywriter ROLE SUMMARY:

As a member of the creative team, you will be responsible for coming up with ideas/concepts as well as creating and crafting content that exceeds client expectations and drives the continuing success of the agency. You should be comfortable communicating effectively with clients, across all organisational levels and global geographies.

As an integral part of the team, it is important that you share our vision, demonstrate our values and help grow the business through creation of high-quality, engaging and behaviour-changing content.

creative copywriter YOU SHOULD:

* Have at least three years of agency experience (healthcare experience is not required)

* Have a strong portfolio of creative concepts and writing samples

* Be able to work independently and with a design partner to concept a range of ideas for clients including pharma, health and well-being, and medical device

creative copywriter KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITY:

* Providing substantive conceptual ideas, writing, editing, proofreading, styling and formatting for a diverse range of healthcare communication outputs (e.g., healthcare professionals, patients, commissioners, internal teams)

* Writing well-researched and creative content ­– bringing out the client’s message in a clear and distinct manner across its different brands, products or media

* Revisions – providing consultation on and implementing revisions/amends

* Maintaining solid working knowledge of client sector, including their competitors and their position in the market, trends, needs and challenges and having confidence in presenting to clients

* Learning and understanding new therapy areas quickly and comprehensively, inspiring confidence in the client

* Meeting deadlines and ensuring alignment with briefs, while working independently and to a high standard

* Attending internal status meetings and client meetings, as needed

* Ideation at the genesis of projects, whether a pitch, proposal (organic growth) or project/camp

creative copywriter CORE CAPABILITIES:

* Ability to write compelling and engaging copy

* Referencing – knowledge of Harvard (UK only) and Vancouver referencing

* Attention to detail

* Time management and organisational skills

* Clear understanding of the brand tools P&P uses to develop brand strategies; share-of-mind wheel, brand essence, positioning, messaging frameworks, for example.

Salary: £40,000
