We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Assistant to join our team within Vistry Works, to be based at our factory in Coalville, Leicestershire. As our Design Assistant, you will assist the Design Department with preparation of drawings and information required for production and for site.

More about the Design Assistant role…
Role of the Design Assistant is to ensure the work is passed into the factory as and when required as per the factory and site schedules, working closely with the factory production team.
Responsible for updating the dates on the DO Schedule via D365. Creating the site-specific drawing packs on the system. Issuing the factory packs into the factory and notifying the site teams when site packs are ready.
Responsible for issuing the boards to the saw using the Cutrite software and doing any final checks of the design prior to manufacture.
Help out with Bills of Material updates and maintenance in D365
Document controller for Viewpoint uploading and managing the drawings
To do other tasks as directed by the Design manager
