Project Design Engineer required. My client is an established manufacturer in Liverpool who manufacture Vacuum coating solutions to a number of different industries and they are currently looking for a Project Design Engineer to join the company and work on an exciting new project. The ideal candidate would be responsible for the life cycle of the project from cradle to grave, have previous experience in a Project Design role and be within a commutable distance of Liverpool.
Design Engineer Position Overview
To design, develop and manufacturer a new form of tube coating technology for the future of clean energy
3D and 2D design work inline with the Project Schedule.
Test and develop new technologies
Attend monthly progress meetings and attend quarterly meetings across the design and R&D departments
Responsible for trials and the implementation of the new products
To ensure all work is being carried out in compliance with company standards
Assistance in general R&D and company activities
Provide sales support within the UK and abroad to help promote the technology.
Design Engineer Position Requirements
Previous experience in a Projects Design role, at least 3 years
HNC in Mechanical Engineering Minimum, Bachelor's desirable
Qualified in an engineering degree preferred
Hands on design experience required
At least 4 years' experience in a design position
Experience with Pro-Engineer Wildfire desirable
New product development and product customization experience

Competitive salary £30,000 – £35,000
