Salary: £30,000 to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
We are a dynamic agency seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our Global Electrification Team. This exciting role will focus on supporting the development and design of electric heating systems, with a specific emphasis on the Kanthal Kanthal Business Unit (BU) Heating Systems Key Initiatives market areas, including Steel, Refining and Petrochemical, Li-Ion Battery production, and High Temperature Process Gas Heating.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate technical specifications and economic factors related to the design objectives of processes or products.
Review product development requirements for compatibility with methods, determining cost and schedules.
Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet module target specifications and technology target specifications.
Hand over methods/processes and equipment to sales and/or production teams.
Utilize CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to model new designs and produce detailed engineering drawings.
Specify precise new product functional requirements, design and test components, and evaluate overall design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
Design, develop, execute, and evaluate fitness-for-use testing, product specifications, and process validation plans.
Collaborate with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers, and product teams.
Ensure compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (minimum) or higher in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
Prior work experience: Ideal 5+ years, minimum 1-3 years (including cooperative engineering programs or industry-related internships).We are looking for candidates who possess strong technical expertise, a passion for innovation, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
