Landscape Design Manager

As a Landscape Design Manager the purpose is to manage and guide the design integration across a defined geographic area, working closely with the design and Project teams.
You will need to provide technical knowledge, manage the design activities by consultancies, report to the Head of Landscape Design.
Experience and skills required: Design, managing consultancies, manage complex issues and projects, communicate well with other stakeholders.
* Experience on managing medium to large landscape design projects at a senior management level covering stages from inception through to completion.
* Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary management or design team and in conjunction with engineers, construction experts, architects and environmental specialists.
* Experience in site supervision of medium to large landscape construction projects.
* Experience in undertaking design reviews and critiquing to achieve high quality design proposals.
* Giving risk based advice to stakeholder.
* Experience in developing pragmatic approaches to design challenges.
Experience of operation on the client side of projects is advantageous.
A Degree in Landscape Architecture and working towards Chartership.
