Design Coordinator
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum parking, half day Fridays
Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a local organisation in the Oldbury area who are seeking a Design Coordinator to start immediately.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm with half hour lunch break each day and 8.30am to 1.30pm with no lunch break on Friday of each week – 37 hours in total, paid monthly
Please note this role is fully office based and does not offer remote or hybrid working
Duties and tasks will include:
» Procure and coordinate the flow of information (mainly project drawings) through the office and to/from both customers and
external design team members
» Upload and download project information using online portals such as Viewpoint, Aconex etc.
» Keep project information accurate by updating the internal Document management systems
» Communicate with customers, sales and project teams.
Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:
» Have knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
» An understanding of structures and basic design principles would be an advantage
» Be well organised, self-motivated, professional and able to work under pressure
» Be responsible for achieving objectives on own initiative, as well as part of a team
» Be computer literate and able to communicate at all levels
» Attention to detail and accuracy
