Salary : £230 – £260/day

A great opportunity working for our high profile, West London-based TV client, in their Mastering and Versioning team, the Creative Support Operator or (Technical Operator) will provide professional digital media processing services for Creative team. This role will primarily provide quality control, mastering/versioning and delivery services for video content productions.

The focus of this role is to provide operational and technical support for the Creative team across On Air and Social platforms ensuring that all promotional assets across the various company portfolios are delivered correctly and efficiently.

The role:

* Mastering and versioning of short form video assets (addition of graphics, audio and video components).

* Optimising video assets for social platforms (reframing to 1×1 and 9×16, adding subtitles, etc).

* Creation and maintenance of templates for automated mastering systems.

* Quality control and assurance of video assets to meet the company's, DPP and Ofcom technical standards for delivery.

* Encoding files to the desired tech specs for each deliverable.

* Manage technical issues through to resolution, working with internal technical teams and external post production companies and broadcasters.

* Create user guides and training documentation for post production systems and workflows.

* Provide operational and technical guidance to creatives/editors and Production.

Requirements:

* Experience of post production non-linear editing technology (preferably Adobe Premiere).

* Experience of using and navigating Adobe After Effects project and toolkits.

* Experience of broadcast and digital platform quality video, audio and graphics creation and standards.

* Understanding / Knowledge of encoding software and digital formats.

* High level of IT skills and literacy – Windows and MacOS operating systems.

* Good communication skills with an ability demonstrate clear and concise technical information.

* Experience of post production asset management systems (MAM, PAM, CMS) is desirable.

* A can do attitude with the ability to work under pressure.

* Attention to detail and accuracy.

The role is to cover long term sickness and would suit candidates early in their career or starting out after University or similar.

Knowledge of post production is key as are skills on Premier and After Effects, across video and audio graphic creation and QC standards

This would offer regular shifts and a 9 months Black Book arrangement.(Details on application).

Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, Monday, Tuesday Thursday

The role would also suit Technical Operators within mastering experience, or Edit Assistants or Junior Editors with a post production background in TV or similar.

Note – This position is within IR35 so the rate is that paid to the candidates Umbrella Co
