We are currently recruiting for a Design Estimator to come and join our team at Ibstock Plc in Ibstock, Leicester Road, Leicestershire, LE67 6HS

Role Purpose
Reporting to the Design Manager this role will work closely with, Customers, architects, Sales and design teams both internal and external. The roles includes creating details project quotes as well as assisting with the design capacity for the project engineers.
Working in the Nexus team will require knowledge of Brick slip facades and brick soffit systems.
This role may suit someone who has Estimating experience, is keen to continue within this and has the desire to progress into the Design side of the role where full training will be given.
Key Responsibilities;
Prepare detailed project costs and estimates, highlighted mark up and typical sections
Support the sales function in pre order design meetings
Collates and prepare information for handover to the Projects engineering team.
Triage and liaise with customers to clearly identify Solutions that can be offered
Support the Project engineers with Design and drawing detailing
Required
Experience working in design and estimating functions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisation skills
Experience in CAD software such as Inventor and Autocad 2D/3D drafting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
Strong Architectural, façade or construction knowledge
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
