Possibl is looking for a Senior UX Designer to make a significant impact with a major non-profit organisation based in the UK. They have recently embarked on a 3-year project to enhance their online presence and improve user experiences. Currently, they are 1 year into the project and have already made significant strides, but there is still a vast amount of work to be done. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation and making a positive difference in people's lives.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will lead the charge in transforming the website, focusing on user journeys, and expanding the pages. Your expertise in UX design will be crucial as you work alongside a talented team, driving innovation and creating exceptional user experiences. You will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of UX Designers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record of successfully implementing significant changes within organisations. Your strong UX design skills and extensive experience will enable you to create intuitive, user-centred designs that meet the needs of our diverse audience.
Familiarity with GDS standards is essential, as we strive to align with best practices and deliver a seamless digital experience. Additionally, your in-depth understanding of online accessibility standards will ensure that our website is inclusive and accessible to all users. Your ability to effectively manage stakeholders will be crucial as you collaborate with various teams, including developers, content creators, and project managers.
Senior UX Designer key responsibilities:
– Lead and oversee UX design initiatives, driving the transformation of the website
– Develop and implement user-centred designs, focusing on user journeys and expanding pages
– Mentor and guide a team of UX Designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
– Ensure compliance with GDS standards and industry best practices
– Advocate for online accessibility, ensuring our website is inclusive and user-friendly
– Effectively manage stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams
Senior UX Designer qualifications and skills:
– Proven experience leading significant changes within organisations
– Strong UX design skills and a track record of delivering exceptional user experiences
– Previous experience leading teams of UX Designers
– Familiarity with GDS standards and a commitment to delivering best practices
– Thorough knowledge of online accessibility standards
– Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
