About the School:
Supply Desk are working with a supportive and ambitious secondary school in Cardiff who wish to appoint a committed and ambitious Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 as a part of their excellent team. This role is full time and temporary with a view for the right candidate to become a permanent member of the team. We welcome applicants who can teach either Art or DT (All specialisms considered).
The school prides itself on its good understanding of the school’s strengths and areas for development, with self-evaluation and improvement planning activities being a regular feature of the life of the school. The appropriate candidate will need to be equally passionate about their development and self-evaluation.
About the role:
The role will be full time, delivering lessons in Key Stage 3 and 4, with the opportunity to support lessons at KS5 should you wish. The role will be teaching all elements of your subject specialism, with time allowed for planning and marking. The school are looking for someone with excellent subject knowledge. Strong classroom management and a really positive approach to teaching and building relationships with pupils and staff alike are essential for this role.

Have strong classroom management skills
Be able to deliver your subject in a creative & engaging way that students can relate to
