Magazine Designer, Duxford –
Our client is a well-established creative agency based in the south of Cambridge, who is seeking a Magazine Designer to join their overall team of 50.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 year’s print design experience or a recent design graduate, to join an exciting business with lots of opportunities to learn and hone your skills.
This is a hybrid working position, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home per week.
The Role – Magazine Designer
Reporting to the Designer Director and working with a close team of 8, you’ll be responsible for designing and editing layouts for a variety of magazines across their client base. You’ll assist the wider team with other project completions as well, bringing visual ideas to the table.
Requirements – Magazine Designer
At least one year of experience in a similar design position or be a recent UK graduate in the industry.
Demonstrable experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Able to work as part of a team and autonomously, happy to get stuck in with multiple projects simultaneously.
Good communication skills, with a passion and hunger for design and self-improvement.
Location
This is a hybrid working position, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home per week.
Suitable areas to commute from include Cambridge, Sawston, Duxford, Trumpington, Shelford, Ely, Newmarket, Waterbeach, Milton, Haverhill, Soham, Saffron Walden, Biggleswade, Sandy, St Neots, St Ives, Huntingdon, Bury St Edmunds, Bishops Stortford, and wider areas of Cambridgeshire and North Essex.
