A global manufacturing company based in Oldbury with over 90 years in operation and over 50,000 employees looking to add to their already astounding design team here in the UK.
The role
A Design Engineer is now required to join the team in Oldbury, Day shift 8.30am -5.00pm (Monday-Thursday) 8.30am – 1.30pm (Friday).
You will take responsibility for:
Management of projects through the design office.
Liaising with customers daily.
Design of medium rise buildings.
Working to schedules whilst following company standards.
Attend site visits when necessary, at various locations across the UK.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
Proficient with Engineering design programs: 3D CAD/CAM Modelling ( AutoCAD)
Structural or Civil Engineering Degree
Previous worked with all Building materials Ideally Steel
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
Working with BS EN1993-1-1, 3, 5 & 8 and BS EN1991-1-1, 3 & 4
