Are you ready to take on an exciting role as a Project Architect? Join our dynamic architectural practice specialising in creating unique residential projects in the UK and abroad.
Role Overview:
As a Project Architect, you'll be an essential part of our team, supporting and managing architectural projects within the practice. You'll report directly to one of the firm's managing directors, ensuring seamless project execution.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the management of architectural projects within the Practice.
* Act as an independent project architect with the guidance of senior staff, showcasing your skills and motivation.
* Lead and manage projects from the initial concept design stage through to development, obtaining statutory approvals, preparing production information, and overseeing the tender process.
* Carry out inspections of projects on-site, following the RIBA Plan of Work.
* Efficiently manage project profitability, resources, and coordination, handling any variations of briefs or instructions and addressing additional fees.
* Demonstrate strong drawing and presentation skills throughout all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work.
* Prepare detailed working drawings when necessary.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Fluent in both written and verbal English communication.
* Demonstrable experience working on projects in the UK.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in professional practices.
* Essential experience in high-end residential projects.
* Proficient in using Revit, with expertise in versions (Apply online only).
* Familiarity with AutoCAD and SketchUp is preferred.
* Ability to develop 3D models and produce drawings using Revit.
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
* RIBA/ARB registration is a plus.
